EVERTZ MSC 5700

Advanced IP & Legacy Timing Support

This unit functions as a high-precision IP network root leader / grand-master clock, supporting protocols such as NTP, PTP (including SMPTE 2059-2), AES67, IEEE 1588 Annex J, and more. It also offers full compatibility with older baseband systems (SDI/analog sync) for hybrid facilities.

Multi-constellation GNSS Referencing with High Stability

It can be locked to GNSS signals (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU and QZSS) using an included antenna system; optional dual-band L1/L5 receiver support. Its oven-controlled oscillator (OCXO) delivers exceptionally low drift (free run stability of better than 0.01 ppm) when external reference is unavailable.

Wide Array of Sync & Output Capabilities

The unit features six independently time-able sync outputs (that can be configured to outputs like black-burst, tri-level sync, 10 MHz, word clock, pulses) and offers optional test generator modules (SD/HD/3G SDI + 10 GbE video) to support monitoring and test workflows.

High Port-Density for Modern Video Facilities

It provides 2 × 1 GbE and 2 × 10 GbE network ports (SFPs optional) for timing and test signaling, making it suitable for SMPTE ST 2110/IP-video environments. Additionally, there are loop-through genlock inputs and a compact 1U rack-mount design.
